- Description: START 00:00:00 Bars. 00:00:42 British soldiers mentor Iraqi Border Police on range; firing drills are seen (no sound in this sequence). 00:01:55 Contact drills: members of the Border Police walk towards the camera then dash to the fire back at "enemy" snipers behind a ridge. Afterwards they gather together. 00:03:18 Group of Border Police sit in a semi-circle on the ground; others stand in a circle. Mentors from the Parachute Regiment (in their red berets) are in attendance 00:04:01 Training sequence: group is sent on its way and carry out contact drills (firing is particularly loud). 00:05:55 TIMECODE RESET. 00:00:00 Drills continue under the watchful eyes of the para instructors. 00:01:19 Two Border Enforcement officers with guns stand in the back of a Border Police pick-up. (S second cameraman can also be seen filming.) The pick-up truck drives off onto the range where they have another contact drill, leaping to cover as the "enemy" fires. Instructors shout "enemy - enemy!". The men run to a ridge. 00:03:23 Debriefing and further instruction (through interpreter). Instructor thanks the Iraqi recruits, and lines them up for a weapons check at the end of the exercise. The group poses for filming (by second cameraman) before dispersing. 00:06:20 TIMECODE RESET. 00:00:00 Further training sequence (possibly the following day). recruits line up. 00:00:53 Vehicle drills: Border Police pick-up is parked ready. After a few seconds it drives onto the range - British instructors are on top cover. They dismoount and deploy behind ground cover (debris and ridges) before retreating to rear position. 00:04:43 Briefing before next phase of the exercise; instructor uses stones to demonstrate the next phase. 00:05:38 Vehicle drives onto range with two soldiers (British) on top cover; they run for cover as they come under attack. (Shots of cameramans feet as he runs to a new filming position.) Soldiers fire back against the "enemy". 00:07:15 Drill is carried out again; this time, two Iraqis are in the pick-up. Contact drill is carried out under the close support of the instructors. Afterwards, the soldiers reassemble. Second cameraman continues filming as a further contact drill. Further such drills are shown from a variety of camera positions. END 00:16:56
