Description: Cockpit views of Hercules in flight. Ground views of static RAF Hercules (869) at Basra Air Station undergoing pre-flight maintenance. Her engines are started, chocks are taken away and final preparations are made. Views through flight deck windows as the aircraft taxies; technician stands behind co-pilot's seat. Further ground scenes showing maintenance; pallet of supplies is unloaded by fork lift and driven away. Aircraft is refuelled. Small wheeled trailer containing liquid nitrogen is winched on board; a pallet of supplies is also lifted on. The rear door is closed. Passengers climb on board. (Freeze frame as time code resets at 18 minute mark.)
