Main gates are opened and the house is stormed at speed. Sledgehammers are used to break down doors. Prisoner is held in plastic cuff restraints. 10:02:19 Normal vision camera: soldiers search the house and grounds. One sits with small children to reassure them. Iraqi Police Service vehicles arrive with flashing lights. 10:03:47 Piece to camera by Central News Reporter Eric MacInnes. 10:14:15 The house is searched and a rifle and ammunition magazines are found along with old image intesifier equipment. Soldier points out the hiding place of the magazines. 10:05:06 Interview with Major Robert Bell, Queens Royal Hussars, acting CO of B Company "Rorke's Drift" the Royal Regiment of Wales. He describes the raid, which was carried out acting on intelligence received. He notes that five shots were fired from the adjacent house as the soldiers entered; three shots were returned but no-one was injured. 10:06:05 Black screen with voiceover by Eric MacInnes, recording commentary for dubbing into an edited news report (for HTV News here). 10:07:58 Dockside (Basra ?) - members of 26 Regiment Royal Artillery inspect vehicles as part of an anti-smuggling operation.
