  • Summary: During Operation Bracken, B Squadron of 1st the Queen's Dragoon Guards (part of the Black Watch Battlegroup) patrol and set up snap vehicle checkpoints (SNVCPs) in the Fallujah area. Continuation of the events of the previous tape, in the aftermath of a reported suicide bombing. The squadron visit the site of the bombing itself, where a pick-up truck, apparently used by insurgents to film the bombing, is towed away and destroyed by a volley of shells from a Warrior of 1st Battalion the Black Watch. The target of the bomber - a Scimitar armoured vehicle - is inspected; the back bin has been blown off but otherwise the vehicle has not suffered only minor damage. The suicide bomber's car has been completely destroyed, however, and parts of his body litter the scene.
