Summary: Airboats for use on the marshes are delivered, and Iraq Police undertake riot control training, at the Basra Joint Training Academy at Shaibah Logistics Base, Iraq.
Description: I. Image intensifier shots show convoy of Snatch Land Rovers accompanying container lorries which contain the new airboats for use on the marshes. Daylight outside base: the containers are checked before being driven (accompanied by heavy duty mobile cranes) into Shaibah Logistics Base where the containers are taken off by crane. The boats are then removed assisted by members of the Iraqi Bureau of Border Protection (the recipients of the boats).
II. Sign "Basra Joint Training Academy". Iraqi Police in riot gear (with shields) line up, backed by support vehicles. They are then "attacked" by a stone-throwing group of fellow officers. British soldiers watch. The police being trained are part of the new elite City Reaction Force (CRF) to be based in Basra.
III. Further shots of the airboats being marshalled into position at the Joint Training Academy.
