Summary: Explosive charges are detonated on desert ranges.
Description: An obsolete shell (as seen on previous tape) is prepared for detonation and positioned next to the Snatch Land Rover target. Extended static shot (lasts ca 20 minutes) of the Land Rover in place, the shell is then detonated. After a safe length of time, the explosives team move in to inspect the (now severely-damaged) Land Rover. Close-ups of the shrapnel damage, which is photographed by still photographer. Shot of Royal Engineers Land Rover (sapper eats a packet of crisps in the back). Another charge is prepared near the Land Rover target; after several minutes, this is detonated, and the Land Rover is thrown into the air. The damage, which is considerable, is inspected and virtually destroyed. Photographs are taken before the remains of the vehicle are removed using a heavy duty fork lift truck.
