  • Description: I. Interviews with Private Joe Collinson and Private Ashley Gordon of the Devonshire and Dorset Light Infantry (soon to be part of 1st Battalion the Rifles). Close-up of Devonshire and Dorset Light Infantry cap badge being removed from a beret and replaced with that of the Rifles and being put on by Private Gordon. II. Rehearsal for parade with buglers, and instructions from officer. III. Interview with Bugler Paul White and Lance Corporal Kevin Forrester. Close-ups soldiers wearing the cap badges of the various regiments - the Light Infantry, the Devonshire and Dorset Light Infantry, the Royal Green Jackets and the Royal Gloucester, Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment. IV. The formation parade itself: buglers play as the regimental colours are paraded, troops change their headdress. Brigadier Tim Evans (Commander of 19 Light Brigade) gives a speech. The Rifles' flag is raised. Afterwards, the soldiers pose for a company photograph. V. Interview with Brigadier Evans about the formation of the new regiment.
