Formal papers are signed before the CO of 1 Staffs, Lieutenant Colonel Tim Sandiford, hands over the keys. Company Sergeant Major lowers the Union flag, and the Iraqi flag is raised in its place. Speeches by General Habib (General Officer Commanding the Iraqi Army's 10 Division) and General Hamadi. Both COs salute the Generals and members of 1 STAFFS march off. After the ceremony, General Hamadi is interviewed (in Arabic).
