Summary: Several scenes showing aspects of drug enforcement in Afghanistan, 2007.
Description: I. Further coverage (continued from previous tape) of a demonstration on range showing the interdiction of vehicles and their occupants by Afghan National Army's specialist Commando Force 333, who are deployed by a Mil Mi-8MT helicopter (YA-94311, registered to the Afghan Special Narcotics Force). Long shots of two further vehicles being interdicted, their occupants arrested and flown away.
II. Colours ceremony for Afghan Commando Force 333, at which they are awarded their badges.
III. Open air drug laboratory demonstration. Various drugs are displayed on tables; Afghan drugs officers describe the procedures that drug dealerspreparing drugs in their makeshift open air "laboratories". The various stages in the preparation of the drugs are described and demonstrated. (Demonstration is in Pashto, translated via interpreter into English.) The demonstration ends with the laboratory being "raided" by Commando Force 333 who take the "drug lords" away; a protesting crowd is restrained. Commandos line up for the camera.
IV. Further vehicle interdiction demonstration with Commando Force 333.
