Drainage culverts under construction (in Paghman ?) by Afghan men. Excess earth is shovelled into the back of a tipper truck. Large stones are removed by hand, and culverts are dug using pick-axes (No sound on part of this sequence.) DFID official talks to local officials. Views of culverts in the streets. Construction work continues. Local doctor discusses the project (in English) to camera.
