Description: Kit is removed from the back of a Snatch Land Rover and prepared; soldiers gather for a cigarette break before setting off on foot. Scenes on foot patrol (no sound at the beginning of this sequence); the section makes its way swiftly along a roadside and across empty ground around the outskirst of Kabul. They encounter a group of friendly children who accompany them on patrol. In the town, they meet local shopkeepers and talk with them. Further encounters with children as the patrol continues. Shaky shots as the patrol continues over open ground. Discussions with local men. Return to base at the end of the patrol
