Summary: Spanish-language edition of COI "newsreel".
Description: I. At their barracks, soldiers of the King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, shave and prepare for the day; they groom their horses, polish their boots and put on their ceremonial uniform as commentary describes (in Spanish) their history and their title. They practice on parade ground and then proceed through the London streets, passing underneath Marble Arch (a special privilege) to enter Hyde Park, where they prepare their guns and fire a salute.
II. Item on modern traffic control methods, including remote control cameras at the Albert Bridge over the River Thames in London (the cameras spot a broken car on the bridge; it is reported to the police tow it away). Computer controlled traffic lights are also seen in action.
III. Aerial photography is demonstrated, the finished photographs being used for cartographic purposes. The maps are drawn up and checked; new map-making equipment using high technology is part of this process.
IV. At the Edinburgh military tattoo in Scotland, Singaporean troops dance the ceremonial Dance of the Lions; the Dance of the Frogs and a Flag Dance is also seen.
