Summary: An (incomplete) documentary on the production of silk.
Description: The film shows a moderately large silk farm, and illustrates the handling of eggs, the various stages of growth of the various breeds of silk-worm, (some research laboratory scenes), feeding procedure, the 'worms' turn into chrysalis (whose structure is demonstrated). The insects which emerge from the chrysalis are used for breeding purposes.
