Summary: Instructional film detailing methods of disabling tanks, using the device of a boxing match as a metaphor.
Description: Shots of a boxer defeating his opponent are intercut with scenes of a soldier tackling tanks, "the big bruisers of the war". Methods of attack include throwing a bomb at the back of the tank, trapping the tank in a ditch, killing the crew when they emerge for 'air'. Taking out "the punch" (the big gun) by getting in close with the right weapon and aiming for the right place: 73 grenade - aim for gap between turret and hull; SP grenade - stick to top of tank, AW incendiary bomb - aim at air conditioning louvres etc. The tracks - "the tank's legs" - and how to attack them: Hawkins grenade in action. Going for "the eyes" of a tank - aim for the periscope, or use a smoke bomb. The "seconds" of a tank - the crew; keep them busy. Gun has limited movement - know the tank's "blind spots". Know the terrain, use maps, learn where to hide. Use camouflage etc. Keep fit with PT. Film ends by summarising the ten tips: (1) Know Your Enemy; (2) Know Your Weapons; (3) Go for his Weak Spots; (4) Go for his Legs; (5) Go for his Eyes; (6) Give him no rest; (8) Know your Ground; (9) Keep Fit and (10) KNOCK HIM OUT!
