The importance of planning: the standards of a first class hotel are needed. Stewards at work in the officers' mess; their other duties include organising social functions, barwork, special valeting for officers. Clerical know-how is also needed. Stewards training for formal guest nights, receptions etc; waiters and chefs also trained (good spread of food on view). Preparing aircraft rations: chefs and stewards cooperate - meals served on plane. Film concludes by describing the sporting opportunities available to RAF catering trainees.
