Description: After montage of Crimean war engravings and a bust of Florence Nightingale are a series of dramatised scenes of the army medical services. Casualty flown in, taken to hospital in ambulance; nurses at work - blood sample, X-ray. Operating theatre prepared. Night nurses; physiotherapy; the patient (recovered, in his army uniform) chats with nurses. Two nurses board a civil airliner (Viscount).
