A parade by troops of the Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment for the presentation of two swords by a Malay dignitary (material in first parts of both Reels). II. A parade by troops of the 1st Battalion, Royal Hampshire Regiment at which the battalion flag is raised (Second part of Reel 1). III. The briefing of a patrol (the first ?) of the Hampshires, ration issue, its departure, and some footage of the patrol in the jungle; routine life at the camp (man paints 'Keep Left' sign, another services a motorcycle; close-up of 'Royal Hampshire' shoulder flash). (Second part of Reel 2).
