Summary: Hitler and Mussolini meet at Rastenburg on 25 August 1941 and fly to Russia to visit occupied towns and Italian troops.
Description: Italian record film of Hitler and Mussolini at the Wolfsschanze (Wolf's Lair) at Rastenburg in the Prussian forests on 25 August 1941. They travel by train and plane to the Russian front where they tour a devastated town and look at knocked out Russian tanks and guns. They then take a flight on a Junkers Ju 52 and inspect motorised Italian troops. Hitler and Mussolini say farewell. Amongst those seen during the film are: Bormann, Field Marshals Halder, Kesselring, Rundstedt, von Kluge, Keitel and the (unknown) Italian Corps Commander. The visit appears to be to Army Group South under Rundstedt where the two Italian divisions served.
