Description: The massed pipes and drums of the Scots Guards, the Seaforth Highlanders and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders give a rousing introduction to the British military tournament and tattoo. The film shows the servicemen sightseeing in New York - the United Nations Building, the Empire State Building and Prometheus' Fountain (where they meet dates from the Radio City Rockettes). The tattoo in Madison Square Gardens: displays by the Grenadier Guards, the Coldstream Guards, the Irish Guards and the Welsh Guards; a highland dancing display to the music of the Massed Pipes and Drums; a motorcycle display by the Royal Signals, and the RAF and Royal Marines marching to the band of the Royal Green Jackets. The film concludes with a grand finale, with all in the arena.
