Summary: Cinema advertisement for the British Army.
Description: The film juxtaposes scenes of army ceremonial - massed regimental bands at Queen's birthday celebrations and march past - with 'action' sequences: M109 battery firing a salvo, with CUs inside a turret showing loader at work; 105mm pack howitzer being readied for action (cf COI 735): FV432 APCs and tanks advancing over rough ground, commander of APC firing GPMG in foreground; battery of FV432 mortar carriers in action; and Chieftains firing (blanks) on the move. The men in today's army must be more than just smart soldiers; "They have to be professionals"; and they are well trained and well paid. A brief closing sequence shows any still doubtful audience members "just one of the places around the world, where the professionals are doing a vital job" - Ferret Mk II armoured cars patrol the Berlin Wall.
