Description: The film opens with a shot of a poster "Women of Britain - Victory is in your hands" and moves in to "interview" the women pictured on it. The first, aged 45, has moved from the kitchen to the factory, where her work is of "real national importance". The second, aged 30, works alternately with her neighbour in a factory - one works, the other looks after the children. The third, aged 50, keeps shop and thus frees a younger woman for war work. The final image - a crushed swastika - indicates the value of their effort.
