Description: A teenaged boy sits fishing by a river and asks his friend Martin where he has been. He replies that he's got himself a job: "Went to an Army Youth Selection Centre, had a look round for a couple of days". He describes his experiences, with appropriate 'flashback' sequences. "They sort out what your good at, give you tests, show you all the jobs, and if they like you they guarantee you a job... put me down for a mechanic." He shows his friend his Junior Army Acceptance Certificate. Adult voiceover: "if you'd like to fix up your future before you leave school see your careers master or Army Careers Office. There's a great job open for you as an army junior and that's a guarantee". First boy: "why didn't you tell me about it?" Second boy: "they don't take just anybody..." Freeze-frame of his grinning face... title is superimposed "ARMY Junior".
