Scenes of the mission's tour of Britain follows, commencing with short scene of Oxford (?). Cardiff Central Station. Chinese Seamen's Welfare Centre: members of the mission talk to residents. Visit to dockyards excavation with Lord Mayor (of Cardiff?). Royal Naval College, Greenwich: delegates inspect parade with Lord Mayor; scenes of ruined abbey/bombed out church. Edinburgh Castle visited, cannons inspected. Visit to north east England includes Newcastle shipyards and Durham (castle); Bishop of Durham in attendance. Final sequence is of large meeting (Central Hall Westminster) at which Clement Attlee gives speech (live sound) lauding the bravery of the Chinese who were the first to experience total war "before Guernica, before Warsaw, before Rotterdam, London, Coventry..." Chinese dignitary (V K Wellington Koo? - Mrs Koo is sat beside him) replies in English. Brief shots of Chinese flag and of Chiang Kai-shek and wife over Chinese national anthem on soundtrack.
