Summary: The Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry assists 130th Brigade's advance through the 'bocage'. Wehrmacht troops from one of 326th Infantry Division's grenadier regiments surrender to British infantrymen.
Description: Infantrymen serving with the 5th Battalion Dorset Regiment gather underneath a 43rd Division (?) warning sign before moving off in the direction of the Bois du Homme. A Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry tank commander scans the surrounding 'bocage' countryside and gives orders down his microphone. The Yeomanry tanks assemble before moving off to support 130 Brigade's operations on the eastern fringes of the Bois du Homme. German prisoners (including several NCOs) from 753rd Grenadier Regiment captured by the 5th Dorsets are led into a barn for interrogation by their captors and are then escorted to the rear. A 119th LAA Regiment RA Morris Bofors self-propelled gun leads a column of troop-carrying CMP trucks through the deserted and derelict town of Caumont. An OP carrier from the 13th Medium Regiment RA rumbles past the upturned wreckage of a German half-track from the 2nd Panzer Division followed at an interval by six 15th (Scottish) Division infantrymen on bicycles.
