Summary: RAF Recruiting film on the role of Aerospace Systems Operators, working primarily in the operation of radar systems designed to provide early warning of an attack on the UK. Operators are shown briefly at the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) station at Fylingdales in Yorkshire, and demonstrating the procedure by which an unidentified aircraft is plotted, then intercepted and identified as a Soviet Tupolev-95 'Bear' reconnaissance aircraft by RAF Phantom fighters.
