- Description: I. Funeral of Bey of Tunisia. Portrait view of elderly (born 1862) Bey of Tunis. French Tricolour flies at half-mast to mourn death of Sidi Ahmed II as Tunisian lancers ride past. Bearded French Resident-General Vice-Admiral Esteva steps down from car and greets other French officers and Tunisian dignitaries. Coffin is borne through streets of Tunis. II. Opening of Great German Art Exhibition in Munich. Camera tilts down exterior of Haus der deutschen Kunst. Goebbels arrives to open on behalf of Hitler the 1942 Exhibition arranged by the Führer's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffmann, and is greeted at the entrance by the Museum Director (?), who wears a Party badge on the lapel of his civilian suit. Exhibits inside include sculpture of leonine-featured head (Schopenhauer ?), nursing mother with child, recumbent nude, and paintings of following subjects: lady in Wilhelmine dress admiring self in mirror, contemporary fly-fisherwoman in trousers and waders holding up a trout, gigantic neo-classical facade, soldiers in capes trudging through mud beneath lowering skies, two close-combat battle scenes, Waffen SS commander with men and formal portrait of Hitler. III. Hitler receives Spanish and Iraqi visitors. Car draws up at Führer's Headquarters at Wolfsschanze and Lieutenant-General Muñoz Grandes, in German uniform, steps down to be received by junior German adjutants. Commander of Spanish Blue Division is then greeted by Generalfeldmarschall Keitel, with Generaloberst Jodl standing in background, and is warmly welcomed by Generaloberst Halder. Hitler then shakes hands with his guest. Hitler also receives former Minister President of Iraq, who bows low in greeting the German leader, with von Ribbentrop also present. IV. Germans capture Voronezh. Animated map of Eastern Front from Moscow to Kerch. High-angle view of Voronezh (captured on 7 July) and German flag flying over city precedes film of entry of German armour past burning tanks of defeated enemy. View of city centre and Russian dead in street. Two Russian women pass by. Camera pans across River Don and German pontoon bridge. Closer view shows dead horses and Russian matériel, including burning tanks, lying abandoned on right bank of Don, apparently destroyed by aerial attack before Russians were able to withdraw east. V. Germans cross River Donetz. German motorcycle crosses bridge over Donetz,
