Description: I. Franco, accompanied by Movimiento Secretary-General Arrese, reviews the Spanish fleet from on board the destroyer Almirante Valdés off Vigo. Destroyers sail in line astern past cruiser Navarra dressed overall. Franco and Arrese come ashore and drive past young Falangist girls and youths saluting. Franco takes the salute at a Falangist marchpast then addresses the large crowd.
II. Franco, accompanied by Movimiento Secretary-General Arrese, continues tour of Galicia with visit to Lugo. Dark film shows the pair on a balcony, then walking and driving past large crowds. Girls in local costume drag and bear a calf and pig forward and others in white Falangist dresses line route. Franco reportedly stated that Spain must be led by a select minority with a gospel sealed with Spanish blood. Shouts of "Franco" on track.
III. Franco visits La Coruña, whose inhabitants reportedly acclaim the leader who has eradicated all the divisions which have brought such sorrow to Spain and who now guards her national unity. Fishermen's association parades through the streets bearing nets, upturned boats and oars. Franco takes salute at marchpast by Falangists, soldiers and sailors.
IV. King Michael of Rumania attends a church service in memory of Carol I and Ferdinand I. Marshal Antonescu stands beside the King inside the Orthodox church and afterwards when Michael knights Rumanian army officers with the Order of Michael the Brave.
V. Scenes from the 1942 agricultural animal show in Copenhagen include youth organisations parading with banners, a stand marked Saxonia, Queen Alexandrine arriving with Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Ingrid, hens, sheep, children playing with rabbits and suckling piglets.
VI. Bare-torsoed German youths sitting in a field look skywards as a glider flies overhead, looping the loop before landing. Cut-in of yapping dachshund.
VII. French prisoners of war leave a German camp in exchange for volunteer workers from France. Train daubed with slogans - "Vive Laval", "Merci aux ouvriers volontaires", "Vive Pétain", "Le premier train de la relève", Stalag IA, Stalag IB, "Il en reste - relevez-les" - arrives at Compiègne station, where soldiers shake hands with French civilians about to set off for Germany. Laval, accompanied by German officers, greets the first POWs to return under the Relèe scheme. (11/8/1942)
VIII. Franco passes in a motorcade through Gijón to the Simancas Barracks to lay a wreath at the shelled building heroically held by the Nationalists till 18/8/1936. Fishing boats in harbour blow horns to greet Franco, who later speaks to crowd from a balcony. (Serrano Suñer beside Franco ?)
