Description: 1. a) Type 35 Minesweeper converted for mine-laying and barges lay large blocks of concrete containing explosives a short distance from the shore. Flak barges guard the operation, which continues till dusk. b) Loading of concrete mines in port and detailed views showing fixing of fuses. 2. Mine-laying continues, with detailed views. Officer charts his position after anchor is weighed and signals are passed between barges. Workers rest on deck eating lunch then continue pushing mines and buoys overboard. 3. Mine-laying continues.
