Summary: Unedited home movie material of a Hitler motorcade passing through the streets of Berlin, and citizens playing, 1939.
Description: The film begins with two people playing with a terrier dog in a park or garden. Then there are shots taken opposite the Cafe Linden in the Unter den Linden, of crowds forming behind SS guards as a long motorcade passes. Hitler's car is part of this motorcade. The material is very much a home movie rather than official footage and it provides an impression of what it must have been like to have seen a Hitler procession. This is followed by shots of people skating and running in the snow. The film ends with shots of Berlin cafes and club lights at night-time.
