Summary: Trials of television equipment intended for guiding a missile to a target.
Description: The equipment, consisting of a television camera, a transmitter, a monitor etc, is shown laid out on a table. The camera and transmitter now installed in a DFS 230 glider are then shown. There is a brief shot of the aerial. The operator in the guiding aircraft (a Ju 52) takes the controls in front of the monitor. A diagram demonstrates how the system would be used in an attack on a ship. The Ju 52 takes off with the DFS on a short rigid tow. Over the target area the glider is released (filmed from the glider cockpit) and the pilot of the DFS 230 (present as a safety measure) removes his hands from the controls. Two 'attacks' on a building are then seen on the television monitor, the glider pulling up at the last moment.
