Description: Very dark film of U-boat entering port. Schepke (?) stands on conning tower marked with leaping tiger emblem (U-100). Type VIIC U-boat with net cutter and crew on deck enters port. Prien's U-47 with snorting bull emblem returns to Kiel after sinking HMS Royal Oak, as band plays on quayside and smiling naval officers wait. Another successful U-boat with lifebelt in form of horseshoe (U-99) returns to port flying about seven victory pennants. Waiting officers on quayside salute and one wearing forage cap boards vessel and shakes hands. Type VIIC U-boat with flash of lightning emblem leaves port. Two U-boats on exercises in the Baltic off chalk cliffs. Commander on conning tower scans horizon and spots two destroyers approaching. Emergency dive shows scramble down conning tower and engine room scenes. Commander looks through periscope as altimeter indicates vessel is still submerging. Type II U-boat with net-cutter surfaces in calm sunlit sea, without deck gun . Next shot has U-boat firing deck gun and explosion against ship's side. Type VII with net-cutter fires deck gun. Two U-boats sail in line ahead through heavy seas. Cameraman raises camera to his eye. Signalling on U-boat. Commander on conning tower with cigar looks through binoculars. Sea breaks over different U-boats. Taking sextant reading. Crew in oils, with two smoking. Alarm sequence has crew tumbling out of bunks and closing hatch. Kretschmer with beard looks through periscope, while bearded crew time passage of torpedo till it explodes against target. U-boat surfaces and steams through heavy seas.
