Description: (Reel 1) The Ar 234B prototype (V9) taxies past carrying bombs and rocket pods; an Ar 234B (with no bombs) takes-off (twice) using rocket assistance, dropping the rocket pods by parachute; an A-series prototype is seen on its take-off trolley carrying rockets; an Ar 234A takes-off using rockets and drops the pods which are seen touching down. (Reel 2) The Ar 234B V9 with bombs and rocket pods takes-off, drops the pods and lands. (Reel 3) The V9 lands, carrying bombs; it taxies past with bombs and rocket pods; a sequence shows (in close-ups) the operation of the Ar 234B undercarriage; Ar 234B's (including the V10) are seen taking off and landing; the V11 lands with a braking parachute which fails to open. (Reel 4) An Ar 234A is seen from various angles; an Ar 234A takes-off (both with and without rockets) and lands; an Ar 234A (V3) takes-off (just clearing the ground as it leaves the take-off trolley); it lands. (Reel 5) An Ar 234B with external fuel pods takes-off and lands; the C-series prototype (V6) with four engines takes-off; the V9 taxies past; an Ar 234B takes-off (with rockets) and lands.
