Description: (Reel 1) The equipment consists of a computer which controls the fore and aft position of an aiming mark on a sight which is situated in front of the pilot (in a Ju 88). Information on the angle of dive, actual track of the aircraft and altitude is automatically assessed by the computer, while other variables, ie barometric pressure, altitude of the target, air and wind speed, are fed in by the aircrew.
(Reel 2) Diagrams show how the aiming mark moves and the aircraft is targeted during a bombing run, the bomb(s) being released when the mark coincides with the target. The film runs through the operating procedure from aircraft start-up to the end of the attack. (Diagrams and graphics are used throughout, apart from one still of the computer housing).
