Adjustments are made to the good engine's controls to keep the speed up. The line of approach to the airfield and the points where operations such as lowering the flaps and undercarriage are carried out are also shown diagrammatically. Following these procedures the aircraft turns into its final approach and lands safely. Special points and likely problems are then covered - different landing approaches to compensate for incorrect height and for low cloud, a means of stopping short in restricted spaces by collapsing the undercarriage, and a pancake landing are all shown in animated diagrams. Manual operation of the hydraulics is also shown, with the corresponding changes in overall procedure. Finally an aborted landing followed once more by a correct landing is demonstrated.
