Summary: A film of the DFS 230 glider landing and taking-off in the Alps.
Description: A DFS 230 lands on a sloping snow field. The fitting of a braking parachute to increase the descent angle is shown, and of under-wing take-off rockets. The glider is then launched with the aid of these rockets. An interlude shows Professor Georgii and his team trekking on skis up and down the mountains. A DFS 230 is again shown landing, this time with a braking parachute, and taking off.
