Description: I. Filming from an observation post manned by observers from 7th Field Regiment's 17/43 Battery Royal Artillery, the cameraman scans the Schneider steelworks at Les Colombelles and a nearby tower used by the Germans for artillery spotting (scarcely distinguishable from the steelworks' chimneys) as they come under fire 4000 yards away.
II. Brigadier Smith, the Brigade commander, holds an 'O' Group with officers belonging to the 2nd Battalion Middlesex Regiment and the 7th Field Regiment RA to co-ordinate field artillery and heavy mortar harassing fire on units of the 21st Panzer Division opposite 185th Brigade's front.
