Description: (Reel 1) An He 111 starts up. the HeS 8A engine is hoisted into position in an He 280. The engine is connected up on a test rig and run. The monitoring equipment and the operator are shown (several shots). The engine is fixed in place in the aircraft. The turbine/compressor assembly is lowered into a test bed and tested. The He 111 starts up and is shown in flight.
(Reel 2) The engine is pushed on to the test rig. It is wheeled up to the He 280 and hoisted up. The engine is assembled. The components of the engine are shown. A mechanic works on the wing of the He 280. The He 280 is towed along a runway. The He 280 is shown on an airfield (two tracking shots).
