Summary: Trial firings of the X-4 air-to-air wire-linked guided missile.
Description: In these trials, the missile is released from a Ju 88 with a ship apparently used as a target. The first firing (of the X-4 V56 on 9/8/1944) is filmed from the surface in the target area. The aircraft releases the missile which hits the water close to the camera. The other trials (four on 10/8/1944 and one on 5/9/1944) are filmed from an escorting aircraft. The missile, which starts to rotate as it is released from the Ju 88, fires off towards the target (and disappears into the distance).
