Summary: Trials with the Hs 117 Schmetterling ground-to-air missile and view of the guidance equipment.
Description: Two Hs 117s are seen on their launching stands. One is fired, spinning initially and then stabilising as it climbs into the distance. The guidance equipment (a modified Flak predictor with sighting telescopes and joystick control), operated by three men (two of them civilian personnel in this case), and the small aerial mast are shown in some detail. Various onlookers are seen standing about. A final adjustment is made to the Hs 117 and it is fired, eventually dropping into the water in the far distance.
