Description: The rockets tested are probably for take-off assistance. Static tests on two moderately large units are first shown. These are both supported vertically in test rigs with the rocket exhaust directed upwards. Various shots showing the (civilian) engineers inspecting monitoring equipment are included. A take-off assisting unit consisting of a cluster of 5 solid fuel rockets is fired on a test rig. The rockets fire sequentially but one malfunctions, blowing off its end cap. A man picks up some pieces from the ground. Another unit (this time comprising a single rocket) is fired. Various close-ups are also given. (This section is printed twice.) A man dismantles one of these units and lays out the component parts of the control nozzle.
