Description: A Rheintochter I with booster is shown lying on a transporter. Troops move it into position and slide the missile onto its launcher. Close-up shots of parts of the launcher mechanism are included. The missile is shown in firing position. A series of trial launches filmed from a number of camera positions is shown. The first three are filmed in long shot from a static high speed camera (see Notes). In most other cases the missile fires out of the picture and is then picked up again by the camera as the booster stage separates. The missile is followed into the distance.
