Summary: Assembly and preparing Rheinbote missiles for firing.
Description: (Reel 1) A group of workers with the aid of a crane attaches the top two stages of a Rheinbote in place on a launcher. The launcher is slowly raised to firing position. The first stage of a Rheinbote is seen on a launcher. A car tows a trolley holding the three other stages up to the crane for assembly. There are close-ups of the warhead being attached to a Rheinbote on a 'Meilerwagen' and of it being raised to firing position. The missile is fired (long shot). A truck with a hoist carries a Rheinbote in two parts. The parts are hoisted and assembled (various shots).
(Reel 2) Further assembly shots are followed by two launches (the camera is much closer here). Three Rheinbote missiles on their Meilerwagen with troops in attendance are seen in a cleared pine forest. One is shown (various close-ups) being raised to firing position. A large group of officers and civilians is seen amongst the trees. There are various shots of a Rheinbote (camouflaged with branches) being towed on its Meilerwagen by both a Tatra 6x6 lorry and an Sdkfz 7 halftrack across rough ground. The trailer becomes stuck in soft sand.
