Description: The missile, the ground-launched version of the Bv 143, suspended from a crane, is manoeuvred along to the foot of a Walter split tube catapult and fitted in position. A static firing test on the Bv 143's motor is carried out with the rear inspection covers removed - a lot of smoke is produced. More shots show the missile being mounted on the catapult and test equipment plugged into the control system. Parts of the control system are shown in close-up and the control surfaces are seen operating.
