- Summary: Leni Riefenstahl's film of the 1934 Nazi Congress at Nuremberg, produced by order of Adolf Hitler.
- Description: Opening titles. "A record of the State Party Congress 1934. Produced by order of the Führer. Directed by Leni Riefenstahl. On September 5 1934, 20 years after the outbreak of the World War, 16 years after the suffering began, 19 months after the beginning of Germany's rebirth, Adolf Hitler again flew to Nuremberg to review his followers". The film shapes documentary footage of the 1934 Nuremberg Party Rally into an exultant tribute to the Nazi Party. Indoor and outdoor speeches and parades during the week-long demonstration of Nazi unity and power have been recorded into the following structure: musical overture, arrival of Hitler by plane, motorcade past waving and saluting admirers, dawn over Nuremberg with unfurling of swastika flags awakening and feeding of the Labour Corps outside their tents, arrival of peasants in traditional costume bringing offerings to Germany's new leader, 5 September opening of the Congress by Hess and brief extract of speeches by Adolf Hitler, Rosenberg, Dietrich, Todt, Reinhardt, Darré, Streicher, Ley, Frank, Goebbels, and Hierl, review of Labour Corps and address by Hitler, 8 September address by Hitler to Hitlerjugend presented by Baldur von Schirach, 10 September Army demonstration and parade of colours, 7 September Hitler addresses floodlit gathering of the Party's district leaders, Hitler flanked by Lutze and Himmler laying wreath of honour for First World War and Party dead, Hitler's address to the SA and SS and consecration of banners, extended coverage of parades through Nuremberg and Hitler's closing speech. Sequences combine to illustrate the style of Nazi pageantry, the oratory of Hitler and the ideology of the new Germany.
