  • Description: Working from the diagram of a hydraulic system from the preceding film (GWY 1551), a test device (in effect an external hydraulic power source) is built up from component parts - electric and hand pumps, valves, filter, switches, pressure regulator, connection hoses and caps etc - each of which is described in some detail with brief shots of the actual part. Routine maintenance of the tester is then shown - cleaning filters, checking electrical connections, changing oil. Two alternative designs of the tester are shown - one powered by petrol engine and one by hand pump alone.
