  • Description: A joint in a hydraulic pipe is shown with its component parts. A device for forming the end of a newly cut pipe is removed from its box and its operation demonstrated. Two different versions of the device are also shown (one for use in confined spaces). Apparatus for fitting connectors to the ends of hydraulic hoses is then removed from another box and its use demonstrated. The resulting connection is tested for leaks using the hydraulic tester described in the preceding film. Finally a test pressure gauge with a set of connectors is shown and briefly demonstrated.
