New warm garments for soldiers arrive at the front. Men (Russian POWs?) load socks into trucks and provisions including meat and Tilsit cheese are unloaded for "the active forces before Leningrad". One trench is marked Bayern Hütte and a wooden hut is marked Münchner Haus SS Okt 1941 FP 32052. Wood is stacked for protection against the Russian winter. Animated map of Moscow-Smolensk area introduces attack on deep line of positions north of Moscow. Infantry advance, houses blaze and Pak 37 fires. Animated map of Dnepropetrovsk area introduces aerial film of Kharkov's industrial area, said to be armaments works. Fieseler Storch lands in centre of the city.
