Summary: British troops of 4th Indian Infantry Brigade under the command of Brigadier Forman leave Kyaukpyu (Burma) on the northern end of Ramree Island for the landing at Pyin Wan in order to cut off the Japanese last escape line in that area.
Description: Brigadier Forman talks to his beach group officers on the beach; various craft can be seen in the sea behind him. British troops board an LCA (Landing Craft Assault) as more troops line up to board the next one. The front ramp on the LCA closes and a bulldozer is used to push the craft into the water. The bulldozer backs onto the beach and the LCA departs. More troops board various small craft. The cameraman moves on board an LCA and the troops file on board. The LCA approaches H.95 HMS Roebuck an R Class destroyer and ties up alongside so the troops can board from the LCA.
