Description: A Hurricane of 87 Squadron taxies to the camera. Spitfires and Hurricanes are shown taking off and landing. Some good close shots and one Hurricane of 43 Squadron is in 'night' camouflage. At Westhampnett a Spitfire of 309 Fighter Squadron is started up. Elsewhere a NAAFI van pulls up and ground crews run for their tea. Various following scenes show Spitfires of 43 Squadron including a shot of NK*Q with undercarriage collapsed and a vehicle racing to the attend. Dim early morning shots show a portable airfield light and Bostons landing. A panning shot of Spitfires also shows aircrew chatting, the group seen including a French pilot and an American volunteer. Ground crew talk to the Intelligence Officer.
