Description: A hooded Japanese prisoner, probably Sergeant-Major Nobuo Iijima (named Eishima on the dopesheet), is led across a gallows in a courtyard at Changi jail by two men; spectators can be seen below. The noose is positioned around his neck shortly before he vanished through the trapdoor. The door from the cells is opened and Captain Mitsuo Komai is led out; a photographer stands by the door. The rope is placed around his neck. Shot of a chalk circle with the name 'Nakamura'. Nakamura is led out. Noose placed around his neck and his feet straps are adjusted. He vanishes out of shot as the trapdoor opens.
